Work Location: Cambodia, Phnom Penh

Job title: M&E Resident Engineer

Department: Property

Reports to: Project Manager, Architect

Job purpose

Managing and performing field inspection activities and working in conjunction with the Project Manager, contractors and representative of projects.

Duties and responsibilities

· Planning, organizing, coordinating and driving work to meet deadline;

· Coordinates with consultants in all building mechanical and electrical services for optimum design;

· Liaises with end user for M&E services requirements and prepare schedule of price and design M&E services;

· Participates in testing and commissioning of all building M&E services;

· Sources material pricing from supplier, manufacturer or contractor for cost comparison;

· Checks and evaluates tenderers’ quotations & coordinate with local authorities related to all necessary MEP requirements for the project.

Qualifications

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in M&E Engineering or equivalent

· Minimum 10 years of working experience particularly in building construction or consultant 

· Skill(s) Required: MS Project, AutoCAD

· Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills, details oriented and committed with strong sense of urgency

· Able to work independently under tight deadline environment

· Possess excellent English communication skills,  Mandarin speaking candidate is an added advantage
