1. Description:
Under the supervision of the Head of Operation Services, the IT Systems Administrator will provide coordinate the maintenance, configuration and support of IT & Telecom systems. The successful applicant will focus on the administration of both the Theatre network infrastructure as well as the Office infrastructure, including desktop PC’s, laptops, servers, network equipment, telephone, voicemail and external communication systems. The Systems Administrator will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the systems to ensure smooth and continuous operation and make recommendations for implementation.
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible / Accountable
· Technical Maintenance of the Theatre and Back Office systems, servers and networks.
o Plan for required system outages.
o Be on call for unplanned systems outages; quickly and correctly diagnose what is wrong and how best to fix issue.
o Performing routine audits of systems and software.
o Contributing to and implementing Disaster Recover (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) plans and planning.
o Keep records of server space utilisation to be able to project when additional processor capacity or disk space will be needed to meet the needs of the business.
o Supports and maintains web server services (IIS or Apache) for internal or external access to web sites. Tasks include managing multiple sites, administering security, and configuring necessary components and software.
o Ensure regular backup of servers and databases.
· Oversee the administration of security devices such as firewalls, as well as consulting on general security measures;
o Maintain the security of the organisation's data and information technology (IT) systems in accordance to the business’ internal security processes.
o Monitor firewall logs and ensure user adherence to user security procedures.
· IT Support
o Liaise with key stakeholders for the acquisition of hardware and software assets. This may include sourcing and providing a quotation for these assets.
o Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (Software Vendors, Technical Support, Business Vendors) to support software applications and hardware assets (IP phones, laptops and desktops).
o Support software change management project initiatives.
o Suggest Business Continuity planning initiatives for the ongoing improvement and streamlining of IT practices during operations.
o Assist in user education initiatives when necessary.
· User Administration
o Create/modify user accounts.
o Liaise with stakeholders to acquire and install software.
o Installation of software updates.
o Management of disc quota for users.

4. Qualifications:
Education
· High School Diploma Required;
· University Degree preferred.
Experience
· 3 years previous experience as an IT Technician or above.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Web Server, File Servers, Microsoft Exchange Server and Back Up Servers.
Other Skills
· Fluent in English (Written, Spoken);
· Fluent in Cantonese (Written, Spoken);
· Fluency in French is a plus.
