Job purpose:
Bartenders prepare and serve drinks to customers in bars and restaurants.
Duties & responsibilities:
- To have complete knowledge on Beverages available in sections appointed.
- Ensure that NagaWorld Hotel standards and policies are explained to staff, and are correctly applied.
- To be aware of and applies the procedures concerning hotel Fire and Life Safety Emergency Procedures.
- Ensure that staff applies the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and ensure smooth operations of the sections appointed (restaurants / banquet / beverage - as applicable).
- Maintain consistency in quality beverages / service / cleanliness of sections appointed.
- Make sure mis-en-place (work place preparation) and check well on each meal period.
- Make sure all the beverages served in maximum 3 minutes time
with proper garnish as per recipe and reached to guest table within 3
minutes.
- Obtain customer feedback and inform Captain / Supervisor.
- Make sure punctuality, grooming and performance is maintained.
- Prep and muddle ingredients per house recipes
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Maintain record and control of bar stock and arrange weekly list of supplies
- Clean glasses, bottles, counters, utensils and bar equipment
- Sanitize ice tanks, sinks, and other bar tools
- Able to attend weekly meetings
- Greet guests and say farewell to customers
- Serve beverages and appetizers
- Take beverage orders from servers or directly from guests or patrons
- Complete transactions in an effective and accurate manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree / Post graduated or equivalent education required;
- Able to communicate in English or additional language preferred;
- Knowledge of alcoholic drinks and cocktail recipes;
- At least 2-3 years working experiences related to the job.
Company benefits:
- Company will absorb the costs of Business Visa & Working Permit for the duration of employment
- Company will assist with on boarding tickets to Phnom Penh
- Company will provide initial hotel accommodation for two weeks
- Company will provide one return ticket to the country of your nationality per annum
- 18 days of paid Annual Leave per calendar year
- Company will provide meal allowance
Subject to company policies and procedures, as may be amended from time to time, and company will provide medical coverage.
