Specific responsibitities

Ø        Establish and maintain regular contact with major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers, dealers and the lodging industry within the assigned area.

Ø        Identify and recommend appropriate promotional and support material required to enhance the image of Kohler within the project market and retail market of all scope of work.

Ø        Coordinate and implement presentations to major specifiers, mechanical contractors, designers, builders, developers, dealers and the lodging industry to introduce new products, assist in selecting product, writing proposals, specifications and ensuring acceptance of Kohler products.

Ø        Work with local government authorities and inspectors to assure specific local approvals, listings or product standard tests.

Ø        Coordinate and suggest company participation in industrial associations and trade shows to promote Kohler products.

Ø        Educate distributor’s personnel with regard to Kohler North East Asia’s project policy in quotations request, orders entry and shipments release procedures for jobs.

Ø        Prepare and maintain required reports and forms related to daily sales activities, expenses, correspondence, etc.

Ø        Provide guidance and evaluation reports on dealer’s sales activities and Kohler’s technical professionals.  Support dealers on showroom development. Provide training to the dealers and assist them to solve their sales and technical problems.

Ø        Coordinate and administer sales support materials, i.e. audio-visual equipment, literature, displays, product samples, catalogs and other sales materials.

Education and experience REQUIREMENTS

University/ college graduated in marketing or business administration preferred.  At least 5 years sales or marketing experience coupled with extensive background in securing project type business. Project Sales Engineer background and experienced in tendering and site coordination is preferred.
