Accounting Associate

 Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy and the necessary accounting entries in each month-end in the following accounts: Impairment, Debt securities Issued, Trading Assets and Liabilities, FVOCI and FVTPL Securities and Private equity portfolios;
• Monthly preparation of individual and consolidated securities portfolios; reconciliation between the accounting information and the information from the origin systems. Control and quality checks of the portfolios which are sent to the responsible areas;
• Preparation of external reports to regulatory entities, as well as internal reports. (monthly/semi-annual/anual package information);
• Improvement the department's internal processes (tasks’s automatization, upgrade of processes and creation of additional controls).


Job Requirements:
• BSc/BA in Economics, Business, Accounting or relevant field;
• 1-3 experience in Finance Department (Management Information) of banking sector or as external audit in one of the Big 4 is a plus;
• Solid background in Finance and Accounting;
• Familiar with local accounting practices and procedures;
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards;
• Knowledge of Investment Banking activity is an advantage;
• Fluency in Chinese and English is a must;
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
• Proficiency in MS Office, with practical knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
