We are now seeking talent to fill up the position for our Macau Site at Coati :-
Primary purpose
1) The Safety supervisor will be responsible for supervision and management of the safety and environmental activities associated with the project works.
2) To supervise the site and assist the Safety Manager with site activities to achieve the project objectives in terms of safety
3)To maintain good client relationships, and building / maintaining positive relationships with contractors.
Duties & Responsibilities :
▪Keep work injury minimal and zero at project site arisen by site staff, contractors and visitors etc;
▪Monitor and audit employees and contractor safety performance and if required take action to modify short falls in safety standards;
▪Regularly inspect the project site to ensure compliance with OHS Rules and procedures ;
▪Regularly discuss the safety and progression of the works with the site and project lead ;
▪Act as a Warden and First Aid Responder in the Emergency Control Organization (ECO) in the event of an on-site emergency ;
▪To emphasize that safe work method statements (SWMS) are developed to reduce risks and to ensurecontractors are operating in lines with SWMS requirements ;
▪Conduct site safety inductions to everyone and to ensure that employees and contractors are aware of risks, hazards or incidents remaining from the previous work period are known and managed ;
▪Ensure that all site plant and equipment is tagged with safety signage / board ;
▪To attend all relevant project safety meetings.
Professional Qualifications :
• Diploma or above in Construction, Occupational Safety and Health, Building Services etc;
▪A minimum of 7 years of related experiences
Skills and Attributes required:
▪Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD
▪Pro-active, great sense of responsibility and quick decision maker
▪Team player and good leadership skill
▪Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
▪Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Project
▪Good command in speaking and written English and Chinese.
Other Relevant Information: Position requires full-time attendance at Cotai, Macau SAR worksite, operating on a six-day working week. Local Macau citizen preferable.
