Job Description:
As a member of the Corporate Applications Engineering (CAE) Product and Customer Support team in the Solutions Group at Synopsys, you will:
- provide technical support to customers and to the field (Sales, FCAE, Marketing, etc.) including license, IP Integration, IP Usage, training and on-site support;
- interface with Design Engineering team to report on any issues related to the IP design, reliability and maintenance or defects;
- author application-notes and/or white-papers that promote the IP's ease of use, or address specific challenges in the IP's usage;
- develop, analyze and maintain tools that support and automate quality assurance processes to ensure new products are supportable and usable;
Requirements:
Knowledge on semiconductor electronics: design, fabrication flow and processes;
Overall understanding of the ASIC design process: ASIC integration flow, analog design flow, digital design flow;
Knowledge of Analog/Mixed-Signal Systems with relevant experience is a plus (specifications, compliance and interoperability and/or design/verification experience);
Has working knowledge and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job (eg. IC design and verification EDA tools, Verilog, Python)
Debug/problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with customer as well as peers is required;
Good ability to conduct technical meetings, presentations, seminars, product demonstrations and training;
High level of attention to detail and commitment to task;
Highly organized and comfortable to manage several parallel activities;
