Macau Hotel + Casino Sales Manager - Global Wine Business

About Our Client Our client is an international key player in the luxury wine and spirits industry with a diverse clientele and global outreach. In response to their rapid growth in recent years, they are hiring a Macau Hotels and Casinos Sales Manager to expand their business from a local perspective with a focus on the Macau Hotels and Casinos market. This is an exciting role suitable for entrepreneurial candidates who have strong connections with purchasing points or decision makers of hotels and casinos in Macau.
Job Description Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be based in Macau and will lead the sales initiatives to open new outlets in potential hotels and casinos. You should have astute understanding on hotels and casinos' purchasing cycles. You will be able to propose value- added sales solution to customers with a consumer- oriented mindset.
Leading trade and marketing campaigns is another key responsibility for this position. This requires a solid understanding on market dynamics. You will drive your own campaigns with hotels and casinos, namely but not limited to product redemption programmes, VIP dinners and private tastings for high- rollers or High Net Worth Individuals, exclusive beverage supplier for balls and cocktail events, etc.
You will continue to grow the group's Macau presence by conducting market analysis and utilising consumer insights to develop territorial sales strategies, with an understanding on cultural differences, high-rollers' behaviour and consumer touch points.
The Successful Applicant The successful candidate must be a Macau citizen and have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a sales-related managerial position for an international F&B/FMCG group. You are also familiar with the purchasing operations of casinos and hotels. As a leader for this market, you must have the ability to strategically identify business opportunities and lead sales cycle from planning to completion. Wine knowledge is preferable (e.g. WSET qualification).
You must also be a self- starter with strong sales management, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Being proactive and creative would be critical for this position. Fluency in English and Cantonese are required, an additional Asian language would be advantageous.
