Registered Engineer

Job Duties

• Conduct annual examination and other statutory testing for Company lifts & escalators in accordance with the annual test schedule
• Issue repair requisition to Service Department for rectification of defects found from test and examination and follow up the status
• Work with Engineers to complete testing and issuing of safety certificates
• Supervise the enforcement of electrical installation works for lifts and escalators
• Attend site meetings and joint inspection with internal & external clients
• Monitor the incident rate and conduct check as necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, with professional qualification of DSSOPT Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) registration
• 3 - 5 years' site experience in examination and testing of lift and escalator equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to exercise good team collaboration with the Technicians and Engineers
• Strong detail-orientation, with good judgmental capabilities
• Strong sense of responsibilities and dedication
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
