Responsibilities
- Check and
complete the processing of inward/outward remittance, cheque collection,
credit card merchant payment, time deposit, cashier's order and demand
draft issuance, ratio par forward contract and related activities in
accordance with the established procedures, bank policies, service
standards
- Act as a main
contact point and manage working relationships with customers and other
service partners to ensure that a seamless process flow for applications
and transactions
- Develop and
continuously review, streamline and improve processes to increase
efficiency, productivity and utilization of resources as well as to
minimize operational risk
- Perform roles
of coordinator (such as BCP Coordinator etc) for various functions as
designated by the Department head
- Lead, coach
and develop the team members to achieve the section's goals and to complete
their assignments
- Participate in
user acceptance test for system enhancements. Review business requirements
and functional specifications. Prepare test cases and conduct testing
- Participate in
business and project initiatives, e.g. review of operational procedures,
policies specific and job related training etc and ad hoc tasks as
designated by Department head
- Assist the
Department head to develop action plan to improve productivity and to make
recommendations on modification of procedures and application of
technology to enhance operational efficiency and minimize operational
risk
- Adhere and
provide guidance and ensure subordinates comply with the rules, guidelines
and regulatory requirements of the Bank, AMCM, HKMA, MAS etc
Requirements
- University
degree
- With
minimum of 8 years’ banking experience, less qualification will be
considered for a junior position.
- Experience
in leading a team
- Solid
operations experience in commercial banking
- Good
communication and people management skill
- Team
player and ownership of result
