Position Requirement: |
Responsibilities: - Review and understand scope of work, brief in house or external production house. - Assist in managing all advertising projects from commencement to production to implementation - internally with departments such as Purchasing for vendors quotations, samples for the following: Signage, advertising and promotions campaign, construction hoarding, product launch. - Assist in managing advertising projects - both "in-house" advertising projects and external advertising campaigns. Manage external parties to include advertising agencies, media buying house, external suppliers and contractors for the installation and creation of the advertising creatives for advertising projects. - Brief in projects and requirements to creative team and assist in direction and output where required. - Assist in managing budget and allocation of funds for appropriate and effective media advertising and platforms. - Assist in managing production administration process - from filling up Purchase Requests forms, to briefing vendors and internal support departments, to overseeing production process of vendor and installation process. - Oversee invoicing process upon receiving receipt of invoice and completing of disembursement forms for payment. - Research media, meet with publications and media representatives and other media suppliers to discuss, review and propose appropriate advertising platforms and marketing opportunities. Negotiate media prices, added value packages, obtain media kits, mechanical specifications, manage the advertising process with the publications by assuring the media publications receive the advertising artwork files. - Assist in managing the process of establishing contracts with all necessary parties, monitor and review all contracts to include General Services contracts with suppliers, advertising agencies, media buying house, media publications and services. - Assist in reviewing vendors, service suppliers including printers, production house, advertising agency. - Assist in liaise with internal departments to include Legal for compliance issues and formal approval of advertising creatives and contact and end user departments for confirmation. - Assist in interviewing, recruiting and reviewing candidates for Executive positions within the Advertising team.
Required Knowledge and Skills: - Familiarity with local and regional media. - Familiarity with events, public relations events and sponsorship negotiations preferred. - Posses a great marketing / advertising sense with sound negotiation skills. - Be able to multi task, work efficiently and manage under pressure. - Posses excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills. - Bilingual in English and Cantonese / Mandarin. - Must be able to communicate and interact effectively within a diversified multinational corporate team envirnoment. - Posses a high level of professionalism and work ethics. - Have a well groomed, professional appearance and presents well. - Be able to work autonomously and also as part of a team. - Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience: - University Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Communications a pre requisite. - A minimum of 3 - 4 years experience in Marketing, with experience in advertising and media planning.
