Job Description
- To attend relevant trade / industry shows, showrooms and worldwide exhibitions and share insights on local and overseas market situations and trends
- Prepare OTB, buying plans, assortment strategy based on a thorough understanding of consumer, market trends and company business objectives
- To develop solid business plans and strategies for buying plan to achieve the agreed KPIs. Leverage our strengths and give feedback to improve our business performance
- To ensure timely delivery of merchandise and consistency in product quality and quantity offerings to stores
- Formulate monthly sale target, pricing strategies and discount promotion based on competitive analysis, market reviews, competitor positions, and financials, etc.
- Monitor closely on OTB, control sales and inventory to achieve seasonal sales and profit targets based on the business plan
- To efficiently and strategically manage Business plan and sale performance in conjunction with Sales and operation team
- To conduct weekly business review and update to key stakeholders
Experience / Qualification Requirements
- Degree holder in Fashion & Textiles or business discipline
- With at least 5 years of experience in buying and merchandising, preferably in the fashion/lifestyle/retail industry
- Proactive, sensitive to figures and strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent product sensibility and understanding of competitive retail landscape
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Hands-on analytical skills in MS Excel
- Candidates with less experience in fashion industry will be considered as Merchandiser.
