NewCo, an establishing company located in the heart of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is now looking for a dynamic individual for the following position:
Purpose: The MD of NewCo Newspaper will be responsible for devising and implementing business strategies to launch and build a serious multi-platform presence in the media landscape of Cambodia.
Experience:
• Articulate a vision and construct a strategic business plan for media coverage;
• Launch and build NewCo Newspaper;
• Build a New Media and or online capacity to compliment the print publications;
• Drive rapid and continuous innovation - prototyping, testing and launch of “new content” and distribution platforms against key consumer targets;
• Conduct disciplined and rigorous performance evaluation against ROI metrics;
• Build as necessary relationships with the regulators, government authorities, the National Media council and other licensing bodies of Cambodia Emirates.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience working in newspaper sales, publishing, online and other digital arenas;
• Strong knowledge of Asia Pacific;
• Must be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
