With inclusion in mind, the following duties will be fulfilled:

• Recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, evaluating and mentoring student leaders to lead successful school-based chapters.

• Overseeing all day-to-day operations of chapters and providing ongoing support to all volunteers by meeting regularly with chapter leadership and attending chapter activities.

• Participating in the planning, organizing and implementing for big community events

• Reaching out for outside partners and coordinating for different parties prior and during the events

• Efficient volunteer management in regular chapter operation and during big events. Capable of maintaining large social media groups

• Communicating effectively with Best Buddies headquarter and its other branches worldwide, connecting overseas chapters and hosting related virtual events

• Leading the development and implementation of local volunteer trainings and other programmatic events as assigned.

Candidate’s Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field, with eloquence in Chinese and English

• Independence, initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm and creativity

• Strong project management and time management skills.

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

• With a highly flexible work schedule, the candidate must be comfortable with working in evenings and weekends as necessary to accomplish job responsibilities.

• Supervisory experience with non-profit organization, experience and/or knowledge of people with IDD, and experience in training and mentoring are preferred.
