Job Descriptions:
- Execute and manage a Total Guideway Logistics Network along the 9.3-km route map; covering the whole Taipa Line; synergizing corporate-wide logistical resources; satisfying all accommodation and logistics requirements from Guideway operations and maintenance.
- Develop and design appropriate LRT Depot facilities including suitable racking and shelving in compliance with requirements from Guideway Inspectorate, CB Department, etc.
- Ensure appropriate new facilities with right technical specification for the Operations and Maintenance and control the quality on Accommodation and Plant & Equipment (Fixed Assets); Fixed Assets in the Corporate Balance Sheet to support the Enterprise Asset Management as well as safe and reliable train services.
- Set up targets, develop business plan and budget and exercise control including expenditures to ensure cost efficiency. Understand, analyse and evaluate impact of rapid growth of business, changes of maintenance philosophy and advancing technology to assess the need to develop short-term, medium-term and long-term strategy to adjust and achieve the requirement of operational need in alignment with the Company Strategy.
- Ensure appropriate mechanical handling equipment to be acquired for the new facilities for local Guideway Systems in compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Management System, Environmental Protection and other statutory requirements.
- Review policy and strategy to drive appropriate changes with the consideration of People, Process and Technology to increase productivity, improve service and monitor performance of O&M teams. Ensure serviceability of daily operations, mechanical handling equipment and road vehicles to support cost-efficient Guideway operation. Ensure full utilization of resources at high competence level with Resources Management to create value for the other working Partners including Maintenance, Station Operations, Project, Procurement, Financial Control and HR to safeguard the quality.
- Review business environment, logistics functions and accommodation layouts in order to optimize the resources and hence, to increase the productivity and contribute to the development of a more integrated logistics provision system for the Company by coordinating with various departments.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of subordinates to ensure that they are provided with sufficient resources and guidance to carry out their duties competently. Ensure full utilization of resources through effective mobilization of resources and Resources Management to strengthen the collaboration with the other Working Partners such as O&M Accommodation and logistic operation.
- Lead, develop and motivate staff to ensure that O&M activities are conducted effectively and efficiently and to build and sustain an effective team capable of achieving section’s objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistic and Transport or equivalent.
- 8 years’ experience in Logistic & Distribution Operation with world-class ERP System, e.g. ORACLE, SAP, etc; 2 years’ experience in managerial capacity.
- Holding of valid Macau driving license class B or Class C.
