Job Description:
Establish and maintain standard procedure for housekeeping department and plan work schedule to ensure adequate service
Coordinate and oversee all daily housekeeping functions
To inspect and evaluate physical condition of establishment, and submits to management recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, and reallocation of space
Recommend and follow through remodeling, refurnishing and decorating guest room. To select and purchase new furnishings
To check inventory supplies on regular schedule, and order supplies and materials to maintain departmental operation
Interview and hiring new staff. Evaluate records to forecast department personnel requirement.
Maintain adequate manpower for hotel occupancy
Assure proper communication within department by conducting regular meeting, maintain proper attitude and atmosphere for housekeeping department
Organize and direct departmental training program to maximize the skill and knowledge of housekeeping team member
Perform other duty when needed.
Requirement:
Minimum 2 years managerial experience within housekeeping
Solid working knowledge of Housekeeping operation
A team player with effective leadership skills
Quality control and paying attention to details
