Tristate Holdings Limited ("Tristate"), a company listed on the main board of Hong Kong stock exchange (stock code: 458), is the result of a merger since 1999 between two major garment manufacturers, Tristate and Hwa Fuh Manufacturing Company (Hong Kong) Limited ("Hwa Fuh"), both established companies with long histories in Hong Kong. Together with their subsidiary, Hua Thai Manufacturing Public Company Limited (a company listed on Thailand stock exchange, security symbol: HT), Tristate, Hwa Fuh and their subsidiaries (the "Group") is one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-quality apparel.
With export garments reaching over US$300 million per annum, the Group produces a full spectrum of fashion clothing ranging from formal and career wear, including suits, coats, jackets, skirts, pants, to casual and athletic clothing for both men and women. The Group owns and operates 10 factories with modern production equipment situated in Mainland China, Macau, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The Group also has 10 sales/liaison offices in Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Seoul, Thailand, Singapore and New York. Managed by some of the best talents in the industry and equipped with state-of-the-art production facilities, the Group is entrusted by many large vertical importers and retailers with the production of the world famous brand names.
The Group is also engaged in two other business lines, namely, sourcing and trading, and branded product distribution in Mainland China and Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Head Office serves as a vital center for material sourcing, product development, marketing, trade financing, information exchange, and as a gateway to Mainland China, which has become crucial, both as a low-cost manufacturing base and as an emerging market with huge potential for growth. Offices for sourcing and trading and branded product distribution are also established in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
