Hide One's Light Under a Bushel——深藏不露
** to conceal or disguise one’s talents, merit, skills or abilities（隱藏或掩飾自己的才能，優點，技能或能力）// to be unduly, excessively or extremely modest（過分，過度或極端謙虛）

~~ keep it under your hat // keep under wraps // keep it to yourself // bite one's tongue!! “Hide one’s light under a bushel” first appeared in the Bible (Matthew 5:14-16) where Jesus said: “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. / Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel … Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Jesus’ advice was the opposite of the current phrase, which can be applied to the able but unassertive person.
